What the Angels See in Us Now

The Veil is Thin

Not the veil between heaven and earth, but the one between forgetting and remembering. And in this sacred space, we are not just watched. We are witnessed.

The angels still watch. But they do not watch in judgment. They watch like those who remember what we’ve forgotten. They see with eyes that never lost sight of who we were created to be. They see the spark begin to rise again. They recognize the slow return of clarity; the reorientation of our identity from grasping to receiving, from performing to abiding, from fear to belonging.

They saw the fracture of Lucifer. They saw the descent of the Watchers. They saw the Incarnation—the Great Descent of Love Himself. And now, they see the echo of that same journey playing out in us. In the ones still wrapped in skin, still learning to breathe grace. They see the light returning to our gaze, the melody slowly being remembered by hearts once silenced by shame.

They see Christ being formed in us, not imposed from without, but emerging from within. And they rejoice.

The Glory We Forgot
The fall, in all its layers—Lucifer, the Watchers, even the trauma in our own lives—was never about punishment. It was about dislocation, misalignment, and a forgetting of what we were always meant to reflect.

But the angels have always seen our glory. Jesus said in John 17:22: “The glory you have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one as We are one.” This is not future tense. It is present. It is now.

The angels are not stunned by our darkness. They are stunned by our light,by the divine image being remembered, restored, and revealed one soul at a time.

The Mirror is Whole Again
In Christ, the mirror has been restored. We are not broken glass. We are shining with the reflection of the One in whom we live and move and have our being.

To the angels, we are not pitiful or lost. We are beloved image-bearers, rediscovering the brilliance we were always meant to carry. Our mess does not mystify them. They are filled with awe when we choose grace.

When we forgive, they rejoice. When we love the unlovable, they draw near. When we remember we are one with the Lamb, they remember Eden. Because for them, it never left. And now, through us… Eden returns. Not as a garden lost, but as a reality awakened, a living union restored, one heart at a time.

Living From the Light
This is our invitation: Not to fear the darkness or strive for worth, but to live from the light that never left us.

To let the angels be our witnesses, not of our sin, but of our union. To walk each day not trying to prove ourselves, but to reflect on what has already been restored. To live as if it is finished, because it is.

And so when the angels see us now… They do not see rebels. They see radiance. They see remembrance. They see a people who are beginning to awaken and shine again. And they sing!

Reflection & Invitation

  • Have I ever considered that the “fall” was more about forgetting than rebellion?
  • Do I reflect light, or have I tried to generate it on my own?
  • What would it mean to believe that angels are not disappointed in me—but are waiting for me to remember?
  • Where in my life am I being invited to live from union rather than performance?
  • How would my days look different if I believed I am already radiant in Him?
