The Resurrection: The Morning That Rewrote Eternity

We talk a lot about history—and for good reason. History records lives lived, battles fought, revolutions sparked, and leaders remembered. But history also carries a common thread: everything in it… ends.

We can’t sit down and talk with Abraham Lincoln about the Emancipation Proclamation. We can’t call up Martin Luther to ask him about the Reformation.

But Easter is not like that. We can talk with Jesus—because He is alive.

The Resurrection Isn’t Just Historical. It’s Eternal.

Yes, the resurrection happened in time. Jesus of Nazareth truly lived, died, and rose. But if we treat the resurrection like just another historical event, we strip it of its power. It’s not just something to be remembered—it’s something we are called to live in. Resurrection wasn’t the end of the story. It was the beginning of the new one.

Don’t Stop at the Grave

Many churches today are preoccupied with death, judgment, and the “last days.” But Scripture paints a different picture:

“Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?… We were therefore buried with him… in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6

We were raised with Christ. Not just someday after we die—but right now. That’s why the resurrection isn’t like Lazarus coming out of a tomb to die again. Jesus didn’t just defeat death—He obliterated it. He went into death on purpose… and crushed it.

“I was dead. And now look, I am alive forever and ever!”
— Revelation 1:17

Resurrection Means You Matter

Resurrection means Jesus didn’t come just to die—He came to bring life – REAL life. He didn’t leave His body in the grave. He carried it—and us—into glory. The Father, Son, and Spirit didn’t just dismiss our sin… they invited us into union.

You don’t need to keep repenting for what has already been erased. The marks of the cross are not scars of shame—they are receipts of victory. You are not a casual acquaintance of God. You are seen. Heard. Loved. And invited to participate in resurrection life.

Everything Is Sacred Now

Whether you’re raising kids or running a company, this new life makes everything holy. Every step you take, every word you speak, every act of love or service—it all matters, because He’s alive in you. Jesus restored our vision so we could finally see the truth: You are deeply loved, and you have an impact on the very heart of God.

Let’s Awaken to Resurrection Together

Resurrection isn’t just a doctrine—it’s the divine reality we’re called to awaken to. The world may seem stuck in death, but through Christ, life is already in motion.

The Lamb of God lives! I believe in the resurrection and every time I recall His sacrifice, and his gift of salvation, I rejoice in the glory of his promise kept. How wonderful that He that overcame and defeated death, who washed us clean and left us a helper, to guide us. Jesus is truly the living God and King of Kings.

That was beautifully said, Ingrid. Living in that knowledge means finding peace and comfort that sustains us even in the most challenging times. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with all of us. May you especially feel His Blessings during this Holy Week.

I believe your vision is the true path. Christ lives and we have but to embrace his presence, walk in his path, and enjoy redemption every day! I hope your Holy Week is as full of hope and love as your words to us all, June!
